FAQ
How do I power and connect?
Use the included USB-C cable with your own 5V power source (≥0.5A). Long-press Settings to enter AP mode, connect to VFD_Clock_AP, and save your Wi-Fi. Change the admin password after first login.
Can it run offline?
Yes. Switch to Offline mode in Settings and set the time manually.
Does it support 12/24h and DST?
Yes. You can choose 12/24-hour format, set your time zone, and toggle DST. With Wi-Fi, it syncs automatically via NTP.
Are alarms and timers available?
Yes. You can set alarms for weekdays, weekends, or daily. Stopwatch and countdown are included.
Is the brightness adjustable?
Four levels of brightness plus an auto light-sensor for night use.
Any buzzing noise?
No. Power is filtered with supercapacitors and a stable driver design, so high-pitched noise is inaudible in normal use.
Will it suffer ghosting or burn-in?
No. It uses a modern drive strategy with temperature compensation, ensuring long lifespan without ghosting or burn-in.
What kind of power source should I use?
Please use a USB power source of 5V / 0.5A or above. Avoid low-quality fast chargers or outlets shared with fast-charging devices to prevent damage.
What if there’s a power outage?
A backup RTC battery keeps time accurately even when the clock is unplugged.
Is my Wi-Fi compatible?
Supports 2.4 GHz (802.11 b/g/n). Make sure 2.4 GHz is enabled on your router if you also use 5 GHz.
