Daylight Saving Time (DST) Settings

Issue: How to set DST?

  • DST Start Rule Format: For example, "DST starts on Apr.First.Tue.2" (Indicates 2 AM on the first Tuesday of April)
  • DST End Rule Format: For example, "DST ends on Oct.Second.Tue.2" (Indicates 2 AM on the second Tuesday of October)
  • Please note the capitalization of the first letter of the month

Issue: How to correctly set the Time Zone?

  • If your time zone is -6 and needs to be set one hour ahead, your DST start time should be -5, and the end time should be -6
  • Ensure you consider your region's specific DST rules when setting the time zone

Wi-Fi Connection Issues

Issue: How to set up Wi-Fi for multiple clocks?

  • Please set up each clock individually and avoid having multiple clocks activate the Wi-Fi module simultaneously
  • For example, when Clock A is powered on, Clock B should remain powered off
  • Complete the Wi-Fi setup for one clock before proceeding to the next

Issue: About the Initial Password

  • To protect user privacy, each clock is equipped with an initial password to access Wi-Fi: VFDadmin
  • Even when accessing the configuration page, your Wi-Fi password will be displayed as asterisks (*)
  • We understand that some users may find this process cumbersome, but it is necessary to prevent the leakage of user privacy
  • You can change the initial password once you enter the configuration page

Product Maintenance

Issue: Regarding the Protective Film

  • All acrylic panels from LGL Studio are covered with a transparent protective film
  • Upon receiving the product, you can choose to fully remove or partially retain the protective film
  • To achieve the best transparency, we recommend manually removing these films

Issue: Display not clear or flickering

  • Adjust the brightness settings
  • Ensure the clock is placed in a suitable temperature environment
  • Check if the power supply is stable

Power Issues

Issue: My VFD clock won't turn on

  • Confirm that the power cord is properly connected
  • Check if the wall outlet has power
  • Try using another power cord
  • Ensure the power adapter outputs the correct voltage

Issue: Clock randomly turns off

  • Check if the power connection is secure
  • Confirm if an auto-shutdown function is set
  • Check if the regional voltage is stable
