AD20-AL User's Manual

 

Setting up your AD20-AL clock is just a few simple steps!


Thank you for choosing the VFD Clock by LGL Studio.

1.The AD20-AL can be used as a standalone clock, and the web page allows you to set your preferred standby content. It can also function as a secondary display for your computer case.
The Micro USB port on the AD20-AL is used for data transfer. When setting up the clock for the first time, make sure to use the correct port. The Type-C port is for power supply only.


2.To connect to Wi-Fi, simply power on the clock and press the "-" button to enter Wi-Fi MODE WORKING. The Wi-Fi name is: VFD_CLOCK_AP.
When you want to edit content again, press the "+" button to enter UDF mode, and the Wi-Fi module will begin to initialize.
Note: Due to the full aluminum body, the Wi-Fi module will only activate about 5 seconds after pressing the "+" button.
After editing your content, click "Save" to confirm your changes.

The back of the clock features three SET buttons.

 

Press the SET buttons sequentially to enter the setup options:

  1. Set Hour
  2. Set Minute
  3. Set Second
  4. Set Year
  5. Set Month
  6. Set Day
  7. Set Brightness Mode: 0 for Auto Light Sensor, 1 for Dimmest, 5 for Brightest
  8. Set Standby Mode: Time & Date, Text 1, Text 2, Text 3, File Rotating Display, Bold Time
  9. Text Rotation Interval: 1~99, the higher the number, the longer the interval
  10. Small Font, Arc Circle, Bold, Fine Font
 





AIDA64 LCD Secondary Screen Setup Guide

Simple and easy steps to get started!

AD20-AL only requires a Micro USB connection for configuration. The Type-C port is for power supply only.

First, you need to open Device Manager to check your port number and download AIDA64.

1.Check the port number in Device Manager

Please remember your port number, such as COM6 shown in the image.

2.Open AIDA64 and go to the settings page to start configuration.

(You can find the language settings in the configuration menu and select your preferred language.)

 

Select LCD, configure the port number and type. Note that the type for AD20-AL is Unified 20x2.

As shown in the image, select the LCD section. The yellow area represents the real-time VFD screen.

In the Page section below, there are a total of 4 pages available. You can add multiple options.

You can configure whether to enable screen flipping and set the flip interval in the LCD options.
